Takako Piro

We are finally experiencing warm weather in NYC and in celebration of the weather I decided to do an article on The founder and designer of the label, Takako Piro is a third-generation shoemaker who grew up in Tokyo. Piro graduated from Joshibi University of Art & Design and studied at ARS Sutoria Institute of Milan. Takako further honed her shoemaking skills by working for various Spanish and Portuguese shoemakers and launched Karoline by Takako during her time in Tokyo. In 2012 Takako Piro moved back to NYC to explore her creative horizons.

Ms. Piro chose the name Circle3 as a homage to her roots because her family crest is three circles. The inspiration of the designs for comes from the desire to create unique sneakers that can be worn day to night.
