A.Christine is a hand-made feminine shoe label created by shoe designer Amy Ryan who was inspired by Manolo Blahnik. Ms. Ryan is from Bloomington, Indiana but is currently based out of Brooklyn, NY. Amy believes in creating shoes that stand out and are different from those in marketplace; you can see this via her plum and black snakeskin shoes with crescent heels that are stylish as well as comfortable.

In addition, to making ladies look good the A. Christine label is about female empowerment. Ten percent of the proceeds from the label are donated to Catalyst Ministries which helps women and children who have been victims of human trafficking. Also, Amy Ryan choses to promote diversity via race and body type.

Medical-grade memory foam is used for each shoe to enhance comfort and wearability because it molds itself to the wearer’s foot. For shoes with high-heels an EVA foam platform are used to provide extra cushioning on the balls of a lady’s feet. Finally, rubber soles instead of leather ones are used to provide better traction and durability.

To support the label and watch a video of Amy Ryan please go to the label’s Indiegogo page. Ryan’s designs are eye-catching and that is all the reason you need to put them on your feet.
