I’ve been admiring Rifle Paper Co. via their social media channels and partnership with the ever-so chic Garance Doré. Artist/illustrator Anne Rifle Bond has a playful, unique aesthetic and her hand-painted works have the attention of Vogue, Elle Decor and Anthropologie to name a few. Anna’s passion for paper goods and her talent working with the medium gouache (which is like an opaque watercolor) have turned into a highly successful business, with products ranging from calendars and stationary, to iPhone cases, tattoos and wallpaper. I recently embarked on a bit of decor update in my daughter’s room as we move from baby nursery to toddler environs. Rifle was the first name that came to mind when I started thinking about art work. The company was kind enough to send along two beautiful pieces: Paris and the new Flamingo art print. My little one was very excited to open the package when it arrived and she adores them as much as I do. (They will be framed and hung within a few days.) In the meantime, I will also be enjoying a new addition to my desk (also courtesy of Rifle): Garance Doré collection notepad (shown below). I look forward to following this brand and have no doubt there will be other fantastic pieces to add to my home and office. I’ll also be keeping this one top of mind for gift giving.
