How Early Is Too Early For Halloween?

This morning, as we were cruising the “New Arrivals” section in Urban Outfitters, we noticed something out of the ordinary: Halloween costumes.

The retailer has just rolled out an entire collection of masks, as well as face paint and–get this– even a Duck Dynasty beard.

It’s also restocked its selection of Kigurumi fleece onesies to now include pugs, lemurs, and flying squirrels (they might be normal day outfits for Cara Delevingne, but they definitely scream “Halloween” to us).

However, Urban’s not the only one getting into the spirit almost two months early. Duane Reade’s selling candy corn already, and it’s only a matter of time before everywhere else follows suit.

Don’t get us wrong, we’re all for planning Halloween ahead of time (we may or may have starting plotting our costumes already….). But still, how early is too early? Let us know in the comments.– LIZA DARWIN
